Nata in Olanda nel 2018, Nika Van’t Studutch è portatrice di una super genetica ed è soprattutto appartenente ad una delle linee di sangue femminili francesi più moderne e consolidate: la Famille 62.
Nelle prime quattro generazioni del suo pedigree compaiono almeno sei stalloni performer capostipiti: suo padre Quick Star e a sua volta Galoubet A e Almè, suo nonno materno Kannan a sua volta figlio di Voltaire, il suo secondo nonno materno Diamant de Semilly.
Ma è la linea materna a rendere Nika Van’t Studutch particolarmente interessante in chiave riproduttiva.
La nonna è infatti la grande Urgada de Kreisker, sorella piena del fenomenale Quickly de Kresiker, in assoluto tra i migliori stalloni performer nati da Diamant de Semilly.
Oltre a Eljadida du Cedre (madre genetica di Nika) cavalla bellissima ora in sport con Zoi Snels, Urgada ha anche prodotto Casablanca du Cedre – in razza dopo una carriera in CSI – e due stalloni approvati, tra i quali il talentuoso Estoril du Cedre e, sopra tutti, l’eccezionale Dubai du Cedre.
Quest’ultima, figlia di Baloubet du Rouet, con Julien Epaillard ha vinto i Gran Premi di Coppa del Mondo di Lione e Amsterdam, il Super Gran Premio del LGCT di Praga e il bronzo a squadre nel Campionato Europeo di Milano.
Dubai du Cedre ed è anche stata una delle protagoniste assolute delle Olimpiadi di Parigi con il terzo posto a squadre con la Francia e il quarto individuale dopo aver vinto la prova di qualifica.
In linea femminile, alle spalle di questi grandi performer c’è la famosa Briseis d’Helby, fattrice di eccezionale valore figlia del fantastico purosangue Laudanum XX. Briseis d’Helby è madre di almeno otto saltatori internazionali, tre dei quali hanno gareggiano ai massimi livelli (160 mt) e sono stati approvati come stalloni per il libro genealogico del Sella Francese.
More beautifully-bred than Eljadida du Cedre is not easy to find. The mare, who is competing at 1.40m level, is an offspring of Kannan (s. Voltaire) who was so successful in French breeding.
For many consecutive years large numbers of Kannan offspring have had remarkable success at international competitions. It even took the KWPN-registered stallion into the upper section, including the leading position, of the WBFSH world rankings of the best jumping horse progenitors.
The same is true of Diamant de Semilly (s. Le Tot de Semilly), the sire of Eljadida’s dam Urgada de Kreisker. Diamant de Semilly’s leading position was mainly thanks to his son Quickly de Kresiker.
Precisely this phenomenal jumping stallion is a full brother of Urgada!
Meanwhile, Urgada (2008) has also proven herself as a broodmare. She produced the international-level Casablanca du Cedre, a full-sister of Eljadida, and two approved stallions, including the remarkably talented Estoril du Cedre.
Urgada de Kreisker is also the mother of the exceptional Dubai du Cedre, currently the best mare in the world. Under the French Julien Epaillard at the Paris Olympics she won the team bronze medal and was fourth in the individual final. In Paris she also won the individual qualification class.
In 2023, Dubai du Cedre won the individual bronze at the European Championships in Milan and team silver in the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. She won the GCT Super Grand Prix in Prague and the 5* World Cup Grands Prix of Lyon and Amsterdam.
This dam-line brings us to Eljadida’s granddam, the well-known mare Briseis d’Helby. This exceptionally valuable broodmare is a daughter of the fantastic Thoroughbred stallion Laudanum xx.
Briseis d’Helby is also the dam of eight international jumping horses, three of which compete at 1.60m-level. These three, including Quickly de Kreisker of course, are all approved for the French SF-studbook. In total, Briseis d’Helby produced four approved sons.
